What's
the Best Diet To Get Six Pack Abs?
How would
you like to shrink your stomach and fill it at the same time all within
6 minutes? It is possible and it can also help build a set of six pack
abs. Think about what you can do in six minutes. You can listen to a
song on the radio, travel 9 miles or eat a meal. None of these except
eat a meal will help you with your six pack though. Your diet is an
important consideration when developing muscle such as a six pack.
If you
think about your body, it isn’t made in a gym, it’s made in the
kitchen. Think about what you eat. If you eat foods that are high in
carbohydrates, fat and calories, then those calories are going to find
little nooks and crannies they can hide in and fill out. The more of
these things you eat, the more fat cells you are going to produce
unless you exercise and eat the foods that will help you burn those
calories.
Most diets
are about depriving yourself of foods that your body not only wants but
also needs. A good diet to develop your six pack abs does not deprive
you of anything except the layer of fat that covers those abs. Let’s
face it, when you are told you can’t have something, you want it even
more. Following good guidelines for an abs diet will allow you to build
those abs and stay satisfied at the same time.
All of the
diets you have been on tell you to eat 3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch
and dinner. A good abs diet allows you to eat 6 meals a day and still
lose weight and develop the muscle you seek. Conventional diets force
you to restrict your intake of calories to a specific amount per day.
This calorie count is not enough to keep you satisfied between meals,
therefore you get hungry, eat something you shouldn’t and there goes
the diet.
Follow
these guidelines and you will keep your metabolism revved up, ensure
satisfaction in your stomach feel better in the long run.
1) You
should eat 3 regular meals each day along with 3 small snacks. A good
schedule to follow is: eat breakfast, 3 hours later eat a snack, 3
hours later eat lunch, 3 hours later eat a snack, 3 hours later eat
dinner and 3 hours after that eat a snack. This seems like a lot of
eating but you will find that by eating a snack between each meal will
shrink the size of the meals you are eating. Shrinking your meals means
shrinking your calorie intake, therefore shrinking the layer of fat
covering your abs.
2) Some of
the foods you should be eating to promote good abs is: nuts, beans,
green vegetables, dairy, oatmeal (instant), eggs and very lean meats
such as turkey and fish, peanut butter, olive oil, whole grain breads
and cereals, extra proteins or a protein supplement such as whey and
berries.
3) Make
sure every meal has at least 2 of the listed foods but for maximum
effect, try to work out your meals so that everything you eat is listed.
4) You
should include a dessert every day. Natural sugars are important in
your diet, so make sure you include at least one dessert every day.
